The minimum age to take part in this event is 15, this age is set by Triathlon England and we are unable to override this.
Entries will be open 1st November 2021 (00:00)
A price rise will take effect 4 weeks prior to the event date.
Entries will close on the Monday before the event (12:00), unless full prior to this.
Entries on the day will take a 20% surcharge of the final online price, should spaces be available, please check the race guide prior to the event taking place.

Event Specific Information
Super League Triathlon: 250m Swim (Lake), 8km Cycle (Road), 1.5km Run (Lake Path), 250m Swim (Lake), 8km Cycle (Road), 1.5km Run (Lake Path).
Reverse Triathlon: 4.5km Run (Lake Path), 16km Cycle (Road), 400m Swim (Lake).
Reverse Duathlon: 3km Run (Lake Path), 16km Cycle (Road), 1.5km Run (Lake Path).
Reverse Aquabike: 16km Cycle (Road), 400m Swim (Lake).
Reverse Aquathlon: 4.5km Run (Lake Path), 400m Swim (Lake).
We will be working on a wave start with a rolling entry from 19:00.
The event will be limited to 150 places.
No presentations will take place at this event, all awards are calculated from the accumulative times from the 3 races at the end of the series.
All category awards will be posted out following the event.
Winners’ awards to the following: 1st, 2nd & 3rd male and 1st, 2nd & 3rd female overall for the series winners in all five race categories.
Category awards to the following: 1st male and 1st female in each age group in the following categories: 1st Junior (A-C), 1st Vet 40 (H, I), 1st Vet 50 (J, K), 1st Vet 60 (L, M), 1st Vet 70 (N, P, Q) in the super league style event only.
Results will be available after the event and uploaded onto LPS Events website under the results page. There will be a link to the event photographs from the results page also.
Swim Course: 1 x anticlockwise lap of the lake (250 or 400m accordingly), keeping the swim buoys on your left. The lake is gravel filtered and approximately 6 metres deep, weed is usually not too much of a problem but during long bouts of hot weather this can appear in pockets. Typically, the temperature at this event is around 15-16°C.
Cycle Course: anticlockwise lap of the Cotswolds, which is the roads are open to the traffic, so the highway code rules always apply. Generally, the road surfaces are good, however some small stretches around working quarries have potholes to be mindful of.
Run Course: clockwise laps around the lake along a flat woodland & grass surface. During wet weather this can become slippery and muddy so choose your footwear according to the weather.
Transition: Located mainly on grass, with a slight camber, any gravelled areas are covered with matting for your comfort.
Lake 62 is a privately owned well-kept lake in the Cotswolds. This lake has been unused for many years, keeping it one of the finest. Its size and shape allow for some great spectating at all our events here and provides a base for triathletes wishing to take part in a medium sized event on a flat profile. It’s a compact event site so you can see most of the action without having to walk too far.

We will be following the rules as laid out by Triathlon England. A copy of the Triathlon England rules can be found here. Please familiarise yourself with the rules to prevent disappointment on the day.
We will have Triathlon England Technical Officials present on the day of the event to ensure fair and safe participation.
Ample free parking will be available within a 5-minute walk of the venue. If you require disabled parking, we have limited availability closer to the venue, please contact us prior to arrival.
Travel times by car vary, however as a guide you can get here from the following cities by google maps. The nearest motorway junction is J15-J17 on the M4.

Camping is not available at this event.
Athlete Pack & Timing Chip Collection
You will be able to sign in for the event and pick up any bib numbers before your start time. You will be required to show your Triathlon England race licence (if you are a member) or photographic identification to verify whom you are when you arrive on the day.
Athlete registration will be open between 16:00-18:30 on the day. Swimming is permitted during the registration times, you must swim on the marked course only. For those who are not racing there is a £8 charge to swim.
All cycle racking is to take place on the day of the event. Only competitors will be allowed in transition.

LPS Food will be serving light snacks and refreshments at this event.
Peloton Coffee will be serving freshly brewed coffee at this event.
Bike, Wheel, Wetsuit Hire & Shop
Performance Cycles will be at this event and are able to offer bike, wheel & wetsuit hire for the event. If you require any of these items, please find more information here. Performance Cycles will be able to able to assist with minor bike tweaks on the day.

Training for this event
You should ensure that you train your body for endurance multisport events and build up your stamina. This will enhance your overall fitness. A combination of strengthened joints and fitness will aid in your successful completion of this event and assist with your recovery after the event.
You should have a plan before you race whether you anticipate putting on your wetsuit for the swim later in the race or not. It is strongly recommneded that you practice training in this style of format to avoid any race day woes.
As you will be mixing disciplines, we recommend that you train this way by combining your sessions back-to-back, especially your bike to run. This will make your triathlon experience much more enjoyable.
